Found this gem at the Batesville Historical Center from 1927.
Nearly 100 years ago, people here already understood something a lot of communities still don’t:
A town survives when its people invest in each other.
Buy local. Build local. Believe local.
That mindset built Batesville long before social media, algorithms, or chain stores.
And honestly… That same spirit is still why this town punches above its weight today.
Not perfect. Not flashy. Just people who care enough to keep showing up for their community.
Batesville. First, last, and always.
