For 20 years, I taught American history.
This was one place I’d always wanted to see.
Standing there, I wasn’t thinking about checking another landmark off my bucket list.
I was thinking about what it represents.
Hope.
Opportunity.
The belief that tomorrow can be better than today.
🇺🇸 Happy 250th, America.
What does the American Dream mean to you?
