Metamore, Indiana today. After flood is done, the cleanup has begun. I'm here with Tara right now trying one of the crew locally here that's trying to help and direct people with what to do and where to go. Number one, we need volunteers. You can check in at the Griss Mill or the Sap Bucket. We need fans, dehumidifiers, saws to cut out drywall, mold remover. Come to the Griss Mill to get it. The cleanup and volunteers are the most needed right now. If you have dehumidifiers, drop them off here. This is the place locally to get it if you need help or if you want to help. So, please spread the word. Share this. If somebody that you know has resources, don't direct them to the wrong location. Grissmill, Metamore, Indiana, that's the place to provide local help distributed locally by people that know people that live here. One of the areas hit most impacted by the flood right now is the Duck Creek shops. This place got hit really hard. Uh everything was submerged. They got cleanup going on all over the place and need a volunteers and service hours. My worry is not about what's happening right now. It's about what happens two weeks from now. When things subside and the news media is not hitting us as much they should. Metamore, Indiana is a historical town that you can't replicate, you can't replace. Duck Creek shops hit hard, help them out locally. They need volunteer hours as much as anything and I know we're all busy but if you could volunteer some time to help them rip out some carpets and get things out to the curb, help with cleanup, it would be much appreciated.
