Sometimes the best ideas come from the people around you

Sometimes the best ideas come from the people around you.

Today I was frustrated seeing graffiti all over the new Batesville Skate Park. I was ready to post about the damage.

Then Bobbie Craig — who keeps Tudor Square running behind the scenes every day — said something that completely flipped my perspective:

“Why not invite them to help paint it the right way?”

That hit me hard.

Instead of just complaining, maybe there’s an opportunity to involve young artists, skaters, and creative minds in building something they’re proud of.

So here’s to Bobbie. For changing the conversation. And reminding me leadership starts with listening.
